Weekly update
Weekly Update for Sunday 17th December 2006.
Well done children for another great week , we are nearly there. Christmas Day is approaching fast. Not many more sleeps to go.
The children and staff really enjoyed the Wizard of Oz in Chester. The special effects were great and children were once again a credit to the school.
We have a very busy couple of days left in this term.
Children get your dancing shoes on and be ready for a boogie on Monday afternoon because it's party time. The staff can't wait to become
dancing queens. The children can come in their party clothes for the day!!!
Hopefully our special guest will turn up ho, ho, ho!
There is still some outstanding Christmas party money to be paid. Thank you.
A big thank you to Mrs Lockett for all of her hard work in organising Santa's presents - what a great Santa's helper she is!!!
During the week we will be continuing to assess the children in Literacy, Numeracy and Science. We have been reviewing the topics of Here I Am including Inititation, Hinduism and Gifts.
The children will be getting into the spirit of Christmas by doing lots of Christmas activities such as a nativity pop up character and finger puppet.
The children will be practising the carol songs for the Christmas Carol Concert. The children will be singing some songs from the Christmas Play, Horrid Herod, Rat a tat tat and Away in a manger.
We will be having a Christmas Carol Concert on Wednesday, parents are welcome to come.
As a Christmas treat the children can bring in a toy on Wednesday to play with.
