Weekly Update 4.12.06
Hi, hope you have had a good week!
First we would like to say a big thank you for providing such lovely costumes for our Christmas play. The children will look absolutely gorgeous when they are performing. We really appreciate the effort you put in, we couldn't do it without you!
Our dress rehearsal is Monday afternoon when we will be performing for the rest of the school, local nurseries and the residents from Meadow View Nursing Home.
Performances for parents are Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, and Thursday evening.
When you see your child on the stage I'm sure you will have a tear in your eyes! The children have worked extremely hard with only a short time to practice and all the staff are very proud of them.
Just to remind you that no-one will be allowed into any performance without a valid ticket. We do have to be strict due to fire and health and safety regulations. Thank you for your understanding.
A letter should have gone home about the Infant Christmas party on the afternoon of Monday 18th December. We are asking for a donation of £1.50 which is to cover the cost of party food and a visit from Father Christmas! The children really enjoy the party and Father Christmas always says the children of St Vincent's are very polite and well behaved.
We are really getting into the preparations for Christmas now.
This week we will be writing Winter Poems and discussing what we see at this time of the year.
We will be continuing our topic of Gifts as the children learn about the very important Gift that God gave us in Jesus.
